Balloon Safaris
Soar above the Amboseli Ecosystem in a hot air balloon! Magical sunrise balloon safaris offer a birdβs eye view of the Amboseli National Park, the game and Mount Kilimanjaro.
The adventure begins just before dawn when you are picked up at the camp and transported to the Balloon Camp, just outside of Kimana Gate. Enjoy hot beverages and biscuits in the custom gazebo while the balloon crew prepares for flight.
As the sky begins to turn a light pink colour you walk to the launch field where the Captain completes a safety briefing and then majestically inflates the balloon. Climbing into the gondola, you then rise and embark on the most magical way to see Kenya! What amazes most first-time balloonists is the quiet stillness β the serenity as you soar above the manyattas, lodges and animals while having an awe-inspired view of Mt Kilimanjaro. The flight lasts approximately an hour and will gently float us in the direction of the wind that morning. After the Captain brings us softly back to earth, you will enjoy a game drive back to the balloon camp where you will join in a champagne toast and chef-prepared, hot, made-to-order breakfast in the custom gazebo.
Return transport is provided back to Tulia Amboseli Safari Camp. Total time from pick up to drop off β 4-5 hours.

What Our Guests Say…
As a solo traveller and my first time visiting a safari camp, I had no idea what to expect when I arrived at the camp. I could not have been more pleased! This camp truly treats you like you are royalty. The staff made sure that I wanted for nothing and raised no finger the entire time. Their hallmark is truly being flexible to work with any of your requests. If you donβt want to eat in the lounge, hakuna matata, they will escort your food to your room. Have special dietary issues, hakuna matata, they will try to serve whatever you require. It truly feels like a family that you immediately become a part of with the simple phrase βJamboβ!
